I have been listening to countless bookshelf speakers (Kef, Bowers and Wilkins, Martin and Logan, and Klipsch) over the past few months and have really enjoyed this set up. I have been super impressed with the acoustic guitars tracks, piano, and male and female voices. They are pronounced without being fatiguing and almost enough bass to make me briefly consider not adding a subwoofer. The Soundbase has plenty of power, was super easy to set up, but would have liked to have seen some tone control or crossover adjustments, so I could filter out the lower bass on the tracks that require a real subwoofer. The price for both smashed the competition and offered more bang for the buck that what I expected. Now I just want t bigger SVS amp to run the Pinnacles that are on my horizon.

I want to start by saying I have never left a product or service review. I felt the need to after dealing with SVS.
I have had poor service and good products and good service with poor products but when I started upgrading my home theater with SVS I got excellent service with an excellent product at the same time. Started with 4 Focal Chora 826D (with up firing atmos) towers for the mains and surround and Focal center with Klipsch for the back with 2 SB1000 . First Major upgrade was to the PB5000 with 4 prime elevations to replace the up firing atmos. Then in pairs replacing the surrounds and Backs with Ultra Elevation and finally the LCR with Ultra bookshelf and Ultra Center and I will never look back. The only thing I may have to change will be the main left and right. As good as the Ultra bookshelf speakers are I need 2 channel music LOUD and full and that is were I will miss the towers. I am 61 years old and love my 80's Rock as loud as possible. The Titans are in the near future.

The design is elegant, modern, and functional, and the soundstage is superb. The highs are detailed but not fatiguing, and vocals sound natural. I pair them with the SVS SB-2000 Pro subwoofer, and they complement each other very well. I'm very happy with my purchase.
